This is our sleepers page. These picks will be people that you want to draft in the late rounds. These are by no means locks, but we will give you the best possible chance of success on your flyers. 04' Sleepers Sleepers --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kyle Boller QB BAL - In the off season Baltimore vowed to open up the passing game. They took a step in the right direction by signing Derrick Mason. Another thing helping Boller this year is the healthy return of Todd Heap. Heap is a huge help in the passing game. Being draft as the 26th QB he should easily surpass that position. Look for him to finish in the top 15 at QB. Chris Perry RB Cin - Perry could be a huge back this year. There is no questioning that Rudi is the NO. 1 back in Cincinatti, but with 92% of the carries last year, Johnson could be an injury risk. Even if Johnson doesn't have an injury he won't get 92% of the carries this year for the Bengals. Perry was the first round pick for the Bengals last year. He encountered had some injuries that kept him out most of the year, but he should be healthy this year and the Bengals will give him the rock to see what he can do with it. 68RB overall should be no challenge for Perry to beat. Take a chance late in the draft on him and you won't be disappointed. Brandon Lloyd WR SF - He is now the #1 wideout in SanFran. The Niners aren't going to be good this year. What that means for Lloyd is that they will have plenty of chances to throw lots and lots at the end of games. He has talent and can make the improbable catches. If he can consistently make the routine catches he should be a great value in drafts and auctions this year. Add all this in with the fact that it is his third in the NFL and he could have a great season. His ADP is WR 53 and he could easily end up a top 20 WR this year. Ben Troupe TE TEN - Tennesee will have a passing game this year, but they only have one starting WR worth anything so look for both Troupe and Kinney to have big years. Troupe also started to come on strong at the end of '04 and should be the starting TE by the middle of the season. He currently has a foot injury, but he says he'll be ready for opening day. He won't get any shout outs during the preseason, and because of this and his value will go up even more. His ADP is TE 19 and he should crush that ranking. |
